Silver Surfer & Galactus

Hey all,

Here’s a relatively new one anyway. New Silver Surfer and Galactus. The Silver Surfer has always been one of my favorite characters and I know I’m not alone in that. Enigmatic, tragic, powerful – one of the best from the legendary Kirby/Lee era. Enjoy!

I love the toes curled around the edge of the board. A great detail.

Thanks, guys. This is part of a series of explorations of the classic characters. I have minor regrets about the Galactus figure. He’s very opposite of his cosmically remote personage. He is uncharacteristically emotive. But the idea when I did this (I think) minor piece is that his herald, the Surfer, has returned with news of an uninhabited world for him; Surfer’s ringing a late dinner bell for G.
